Hands down the best massage I've ever had. And a wonderful day! A very friendly and informative wine tour, great wine and food. Would do it again in a flash!

Service rating:

Your company did not communicate with providers on the spa/winery day, leading to a very uncomfortable situation.

Product rating:

Requested all female therapists and they were not told this. Then the 2 females were put with the male therapists and the 2 males had female therapists the whole time. Females should have been put with female therapists at least for the massage part as that is what was requested. Made to feel very awkward when we questioned it. Very disappointing.

Lunch was also not as expected at the winery.

Hi Kathryn. If female or male therapists are requested then we will always pass this information on to the Day Spa. It appears in this case this was not done and we are sincerely sorry. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. It's invaluable information and helps us become better at what we do and also assists the individual activity companies continue to improve on their service & products.

The Queenstown Day Spa and Wine Experience is a perfect way to relax, unwind and enjoy the majestic qualities Queenstown has to offer. Start the day with a tranquil 60 minute massage followed by your choice of facial or floatation then experience the fine wine produced within the region together with a gourmet lunch and a visit to a cheesery. This is an ideal experience suited to those looking to do some serious relaxing.

Hello,

My girlfriend and I will be in Queenstown from 28/6 - 5/7. We are interested in doing the day spa, and wine experience but are unsure on which day to book it, as we want to fit it around our skiing and want to ensure there are adequate snow falls for the time we are there. Can you tell me if spots fill up quickly for this experience? Do you think we can wait until we are in Queenstown to book, as we have a week to play with? And do you run this experience every day?

Thanks,

David

Comments

Hi David, the Day Spa and Wine Experience does run daily however it can also book up if there are large groups/tour groups coming through. You could book it when you get to Queenstown however the dates you are after may not be as readily available. Generally, the winter is a quieter time of year for this tour so you may be ok. It is always hard to determine the snow fall so I can understand your issue. If you can book it at least a week in advance you should be ok. Alternativley, if you book it for a day and then decide you want to change the date we can always do that for you too as long as there is space on the next day.

how cold is this area in July?

Comments

Hi Meredith. July is the coldest month in Queenstown with temperatures averaging around 5 - 10 degrees during the day and dropping below zero at night. Even though it is cold it is often very dry with cold crisp blue sky days and very little rain.
